Ludwing Gonzales

Biography

I serve as the Adjunct Professor of Violin at William Carey University. Along with my duties at William Carey, I give masterclasses and private lessons locally and across the United States such as the Jackson Youth Orchestra in Mississippi. I was invited to play for the Venezuela's leading symphony orchestras as well as in Peru (my native country) such as the National Symphony Orchestra. I am a member of a recognized trio an won second prize in the Chamber Music Competition at the University of Southern Mississippi. As a soloist, I constantly play in recitals from small to big venues. In addition, I was honored as a winner of the William T. Gower Concerto Competition in 2016. I was featured as a soloist with the Peruvian National Symphony Orchestra at the young age of 16. Today, I am in the process of earning my D.M.A (Doctoral in Music and Arts). Along with working on my degree, I have already earned my M.M and B.M at the University of Southern Mississippi. Prior to earning my Bachelors degree, I earned my Performance Diploma at the National Conservatory of Peru. My goal as a violinist is to impact more local communities and abroad, inspiring and guiding new generations. Through the power of music, I have experienced and seen true fulfillment in many people's lives of different cultures from around the world. Violin playing and violin teaching is not my job, it is my passion.
